Tesla to operate in Washington

Tesla’s insurance subsidiary, Tesla General Insurance, has recently submitted a new auto insurance program in Washington.

The proposed effective date of the filing, which was approved, is July 15, 2023.

Tesla currently offers insurance in 12 states and it has several pending programs in states in does not operate it including Georgia and New Jersey.
